Routine is fantastic. It provides us with guardrails—a type of structure and purpose for our lives. That said, routine packaged in a “that’s how we’ve always done it” mindset can become a prison. If we’re not careful, we will start living on autopilot. But, there are moments in life when will God call you out of your normal routine and into something greater. Will you be willing to break the routine and fix your eyes on the uncertain future where God is calling you?

As a famous native son of Northeast Ohio once said, “Nothing is given, everything is earned.” Do we truly want the blessings that God has for us? They can be ours—and not “someday” off in the distant future—but right here and now. All we have to do is move.
