Jocelyn Cabell // Testimony

Before Jesus I felt like everything around me was negative and unwelcoming. I knew I needed a Savior when my grandpa passed away. I had so much grief and sadness not only because of his passing but also watching how sad my mom was. It was just heartbreaking.

My life now has a new perspective. Before I found and accepted Jesus, I was just so angry and negative. I was not making the best choices. My gram has been a great Godly influence and helped lead me to Jesus. She always helps me out when I need it and during the hard times while teaching me more about Jesus.

Being part of Cornerstone has been life-changing. The friends and people I have met here are amazing! They are so encouraging and will always be there for you. I go to youth group on Wednesdays and it's very upbeat and a great place to learn and make new friends. They encourage my faith because when they found Jesus it changed their lives for the better and I needed that in my life.

I am getting baptized because Jesus is my Savior and I want to proceed into my faith and continue to learn more. I'm ready to rise like Christ did and be the new faithful person that I know I want to and can be. I want the dead, old, and suffocating life to be gone!
