Happy Thanksgiving!
Have you ever wondered about God’s will for your life? Chances are you have.
In fact, I think the question “What is God's will for my life?" is one of the most often asked questions among believers—and among those who aren’t even actively following God!
We all want to know what God has in mind for us.
And we’re worried we’ll miss it.
So what if I told you I know God’s will for you? What if I could tell you with abundant clarity what he desires out of you? Well, I just so happen to have your answer. Are you ready?
Here it is! The answer you seek to the question “What is God’s will for my life?":
“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
I Thessalonians 5:16-18
Rejoice always.
Pray continually.
Give thanks in all circumstances.
"Thanks" is God’s will for your life. I know, you were thinking it was a profession—right? This job, that career...we tend to think that’s God’s will for our life.
But his will for us isn’t a profession, it’s a posture.
The posture of gratitude. Of a thankful heart. Of a grateful spirit.
So this week, as you celebrate Thanksgiving, you can thank God that he has made his will for our lives abundantly clear—to be thankful.
A spirit of thanksgiving is what he asks of us. So let’s give it to him this year and every year. Fulfill the will of God for your life, and let him and others know that you are thankul!
Keep Encouraged!
