The Best Isn’t Yet to Come—It’s Here

The last time I wrote for The Weekly, I said that I was confident about the future of Cornerstone.

“Confident that our best days are ahead.”
“Confident that we will see God move on our behalf.”
“Confident that we will see addictions broken.”
“Confident that we will see marriages restored.”
“Confident that we will see schools and communities changed forever.”
“Confident that we will meet all challenges we face.”

That was a month ago. And here we are, one month later, and I’m even more confident in that belief. One major reason? We’ve got a building! Can you believe it?!

If you’ve stuck with us the last few years, you know the challenges and the struggles we’ve gone through without a building. To say it’s been tough has been an understatement.

But we kept the faith. We believed God had a property in mind for us. A place where we could put down our roots. Land where we could build a facility that would help us with our mission to reach our community for Jesus.

And now here we are—in the middle of a pandemic!—seeing that reality come true.

I so hope that you’ll join us on October 21 at 6 PM for our Worship Night and Building Dedication. It’s going to be an incredible night worshipping God for his faithfulness.

The amazing thing? This is just the start. We’re only beginning on this journey. Buying this building and the property is just the first step on our journey. We’ve got some unbelievable days ahead in our future. I promise you this—five years from today, you’re not going to believe the impact of our church and ministry. God is about to blow away our expectations.

So to those who have stuck with us through the last few, tough years: Thank you. Your love, loyalty, and sacrifices have meant everything.

And to those who have been shaky, unsure of what’s going on: Now’s the time to hop back on the bandwagon. You don’t want to miss out on what God’s about to do.

The best isn’t yet to come—IT'S HERE.
Keep Encouraged!
