Interior Construction & Renovations Begin
Starting in January, we’ll begin the process of transforming key areas in our building, including a face lift to our lobby and sanctuary spaces, then an all-new Cornerstone Kids wing and Bathrooms, and more. These upgrades are designed to create more engaging, safe, and welcoming spaces for our kids, as well as improve the comfort and functionality of our facilities for everyone. It’s a huge step forward in creating an environment where people of all ages can connect, grow, and thrive. We can’t wait to see how these changes will enhance the experience for our families and guests!

Online Only Worship Services
Due to the start of exciting renovations inside our facility, our Sunday worship services will be exclusively online for the month of January! During this time, we invite you to engage fully in our online services, allowing us to focus on vision, growth, and spiritual renewal as we prepare for the changes ahead. It's a great opportunity to invite others to join in from home, chat with friends in the comments, try out online giving, and even host watch parties in your home. Be part of this exciting season!
Return to Onsite Services
In February, we’ll be back worshipping both onsite and online, but please note that our facility will still be under varying levels of construction throughout the late winter and spring months. When it becomes necessary, temporary facilities will be available for both our kids' environments and bathrooms, ensuring that everyone has as comfortable an experience as possible. An estimated completion date for our interior renovations is TBD. We’ll keep you updated with more details as we have them. We appreciate your patience and can’t wait to see how these updates will enhance our ministry as we continue to grow together!

Saturday, January 4 at 8 AM | House Three-Thirty
Come for conversation, coffee, and encouragement at this casual, laid-back gathering for women. It’s the perfect way to start your day and to connect with others. No cost event.
Family Movie matinee (Kids & Families)
Saturday, January 11 at 12 pm | The Linda Theatre 1745 Goodyear Blvd, Akron
Enjoy a family-friendly movie afternoon for our kids and families. And kids leave with a keepsake ticket! Don’t Miss It! Admission is Free. Concessions are discounted.
Youth Hangout at Applebees
Sunday, January 19 at 6 PM | Applebee’s
Hey, Middle Schoolers! Bring dinner money and a friend, and meet us at the church. Then we’ll head over to Applebee’s on Arlington Rd. for food and a fun hang!
NCAA FOOTBALL Championship Watch Party (men)
Monday, January 20 at 7 PM | location TBD
Calling Football (& Food) Fans! Join us for a Men’s NCAA Football Championship watch party. Bring your game face and enjoy some good food and great company. $10 Admission Fee. Cash only. Pay at the door.
Bowling Hangout (Whole Church)
Sunday, January 26 at 2-4 PM | Spins Bowling
Grab your fam & friends and come on out for an afternoon of fun! Lanes have been reserved. Shoe rental, concessions, and arcade games at the participant’s expense.
Cornerstone SZN 1 (February, March & April)
2025 is all about intentionality and planning! We’re rolling out a seasonal approach to ministry, including tools like a SZN calendar and catalogue to help everyone stay connected with church news, goals, events, opportunities to serve, and more. Vision Weekend & SZN 1 Kickoff
Mark your calendars for Vision Sunday on February 2 at 9 & 11 AM! We’ll be back onsite and unveiling our Word of the Year 2025, setting the spiritual focus for the year ahead. This is a pivotal moment to gather as a church, align our hearts, and seek God’s direction for what’s to come. That evening at 6 PM, join us for a Worship & Prayer Night to kick-off SZN 1 celebrating, praying, and laying a strong foundation for the upcoming season. It’s going to be an inspiring, powerful day, and we can’t wait to see you there!
Cornerstone Fast 2025
In 2025 our annual fast will align with the season of Lent, beginning March 5. This time of fasting and prayer will be a powerful way to prepare our hearts for Easter and focus on spiritual growth as we seek God together in unity.
