The Why of Worship // Cornerstone College

It’s fall once again, and you know what that means—class is back in session! And we’re embracing “school spirit” at Cornerstone as we introduce “Cornerstone College”—a new teaching series studying the basics of doctrine and theology on some not-so-basic topics. We believe the better we know the core of who God is and what He desires, the better our relationship with God will get. While we may not be able to know God exhaustively, we can know Him accurately. And during this four-week series, we aim to do just that. So wear your cGear, grab your sermon notes notebook, bring your Bible, and enroll with us at Cornerstone College!

Many of us take worship for granted. We follow the customs and traditions, but we don’t actually know why. Like...“Why do we get together on Sunday? Why do we sing songs? Why do we raise hands?
