Keep The Change! // There's Always This Year

We all have goals, dreams, and hopes for our future, personally and as a church family. Things we want to start - or maybe stop. But the things we want most don’t happen by accident. So, what changes can we make to be the people and church we want to be? During this series we will explore spiritual and practical steps to get us there!

Isaiah 43:19

Keep The Change!

Changing is only half the battle. Your soul doesn’t have cruise control.

You have to protect your progress.

Decline is natural. Growth and progress will always require effort.

Keeping the change will always require vigilance.

Keep a close watch on how you live and on your teaching. Stay true to what is right for the sake of your own salvation and the salvation of those who hear you.

I Timothy 4:16

Losing the change becomes very easy when you:

  1. Get close to the wrong people.

  2. Are ambiguous about your change.

  3. Don’t shape your environment for success.

  4. Have too much time on your hands.

  5. Misunderstand failure.

Defend what God is doing in your life.

Make your own maintenance plan for the year to maintain your “new.”
