Your Life in Five Years Starts This Year
Have you ever considered who you could be in 5 years?
“Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years.”
Bill Gates
If you are not intentional, life will choose for you, and you will end up stuck in a “less than” life.
Without intentionality, the future you is just the current you on steroids.
Whatever you choose to add to or subtract from your life will have major impact.
This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living. Because we belong to the day, we must live decent lives for all to see. Don’t participate in the darkness of wild parties and drunkenness, or in sexual promiscuity and immoral living, or in quarreling and jealousy. Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And don’t let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires.
Romans 13:11-14
If you don’t like what you are getting, change what you are doing.
The life you get is the life you make - one choice at a time.
Consistency is more significant than intensity.
Daily-weekly-monthly, whether I feel like it or not.
Intentionally Build Your Life:
Evaluate who you are now.
With God, carefully consider who you want to be.
Make a plan to head that direction and start this week.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (NLT)
